Robert Cotton

Robert was born about 1483. Robert's father was Richard Cotton and his mother was Jane Brereton. His paternal grandparents were John Cotton and Mary de la Pole; his maternal grandparents were William IX Brereton and Philippa de Hulse. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Isabel, Matilda, Catherine and Eleanor. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
