Elizabeth "Betsy" Akers 
Elizabeth "Betsy" was born about 1822. Elizabeth "Betsy"'s father was Jonathan Akers and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Ament. Her paternal grandparents were Augustine (Austin) Akers and Rhoda Thompson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named George Washington, John Henry, Andrew Jackson, Austin Harrison, Abigail Adela, Rachel Ann and Catherine. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Sarah. She died about 1851.-
