Catherine Akers

Catherine was born about 1831. Catherine's father was Jonathan Akers and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Ament. Her paternal grandparents were Augustine (Austin) Akers and Rhoda Thompson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named George Washington, John Henry, Andrew Jackson, Austin Harrison, Abigail Adela, Elizabeth "Betsy" and Rachel Ann. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Sarah. She died on April 10th, 1851.
