Rachel Ann Akers 
Rachel Ann was born about 1824. Rachel Ann's father was Jonathan Akers and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Ament. Her paternal grandparents were Augustine (Austin) Akers and Rhoda Thompson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named George Washington, John Henry, Andrew Jackson, Austin Harrison, Abigail Adela, Elizabeth "Betsy" and Catherine. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Sarah. She died on December 5th, 1905.-
