Benjamin VanCleave 
Benjamin was born on January 20th, 1771. Benjamin's father was John VanCleave and his mother was Mary Shepherd. His paternal grandparents were Aaron Van Cleef-VanCleave and Rachel Schenck; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Sheperd and Elizabeth Van Meter. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Aaron, John, Rachel, Leah, Elizabeth, Sarah and Nancy. He had two half-brothers named Peter and David. He died at the age of 69 in 1840.-
