James Powers 
James was born on June 3rd, 1846. James' father was Marsham (Massa) Powers and his mother was Jane Holmes. His paternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Holms, Jacob, Jackson, Samuel M., Indiana, Lavina Jane, Margaret (Peggy) and Hannah Mathewson. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on September 30th, 1917. He was buried in Freedom Cem. Warrick County,IN.-
