Peter May 
Peter was born about 1795 in Washington County Tennessee. Peter's father was Cassimore May and his mother was Mary Horne. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Adam, Samuel, Barnabas (Barnes), David, Elizabeth (Betsey), Mary and Catherine "Caty". He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died about March 21st, 1845 in Indian Creek Twp.,Monroe Co.,Indiana.
‌Peter and Rachel were married in a religious ceremony in 1815 in Washington County,Tennessee. They had four sons and two daughters, named William, John, Lewis, Preston, Mary Jane and Margaret.

John May
John was born in 1826 in Harrison County,Indiana. He died at the age of 55 in 1881 in Russell,Lucas County,Iowa. He was buried in Ragtown Cemetery.
