Adam May 
Adam was born about 1796 in Washington County,Tennessee. Adam's father was Cassimore May and his mother was Mary Horne. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Peter, Samuel, Barnabas (Barnes), David, Elizabeth (Betsey), Mary and Catherine "Caty". He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died after 1850 in poss. Murray County,Georga.
Adam and Elizabeth "Betsey" were married in a religious ceremony on May 11th, 1814 in Washington County,Tennessee. They had six sons and six daughters, named John, Martin, Adam, Cassimore, David, Jesse, Mary, Elizabeth, Anna, Emaline, Amanda and Catherine.
Adam and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1846.
