Louis II 'the Stammerer' King of France, Holy Roman Emperor was born in November 0846.1   Louis II 'the Stammerer' King of France, Holy Roman Emperor's father was Charles II 'the Bald' King of France and his mother was Ermentrude of Orleans.  His paternal grandparents were Louis I 'the Fair, the Pious' King of France, Holy Roman Emp and Judith of Bavaria; his maternal grandparents were Eudes (Odo) Count of Orleans and Engeltrude of Paris. He had three sisters named Rothilde Princess of France, Judith Princess of France and Hersent Princess of France.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named Roheut (Rothaut) and Rothilde of.  He died in Compiegne.1
