Louis I 'the Fair, the Pious' King of France, Holy Roman Emp was born in August 0778 in Casseneuil,Lot-et-Garonne,France.1   Louis I 'the Fair, the Pious' King of France, Holy Roman Emp's father was Charlemagne King of France and his mother was Hildegarde Countess of Linzgau.  His paternal grandparents were Pippin III 'the Short' Mayor of the Palace of Austrasia, Kin and Bertha 'Broadfoot'; his maternal grandparents were Gerold I Count in the Linzgau, Duke of Allemania Vinzgau and Emma (Imma) of Duchess of Vinzgau Allemania. He had two brothers and a sister, named Charles Holy Roman Emperor, Pippin King of and Bertha Princess of France.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Aupais.  He died in Ingelheim,Rhinehessen,Hesse.  He was buried in Metz.1
