Sarah BECKWITH 
Sarah was born on December 15th, 1684 in Lyme,New London,Conn and her baptism took place on December 25th, 1684. Sarah's father was Matthew (Mathew) BECKWITH and her mother was Mrs. Elizabeth BECKWITH. Her paternal grandparents were Matthew (Mathew) BECKWITH and Elizabeth (Mary) LYNDE; her maternal grandparents were Peter TALLMAN and Anne HILL. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Matthew, John, James, Jonah, Griswold, John, Prudence, Sarah, Elizabeth and Ruth. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother named Joseph. She died at the age of 88 on February 28th, 1773.General Notes
