John BECKWITH 
John was born on January 4th, 1699 in Guilford,Middlesex,Connecticut. John's father was Matthew (Mathew) BECKWITH and his mother was Mrs. Elizabeth BECKWITH. His paternal grandparents were Matthew (Mathew) BECKWITH and Elizabeth (Mary) LYNDE; his maternal grandparents were Peter TALLMAN and Anne HILL. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Matthew, John, James, Jonah, Griswold, Prudence, Sarah, Elizabeth, Ruth and Sarah. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named Joseph. He died before 1715.General Notes
