Toussaint Pothier

Toussaint was born on August 13th, 1675 in St Bernard DE Charlesbourg, Quebec.¹ Toussaint's father was Étienne Pothier-Laverdure and his mother was Michelle De Lahaie. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Pothier and Marie Danbonet; his maternal grandparents were Francois Lahaie and Nicole Lepron. He had two brothers and a sister, named Jean, Jean Francois Jean Baptiste and Marie. He was the second youngest of the four children.

‌Toussaint and Marguerite were married in a religious ceremony on December 1st, 1703 in Quebec, Quebec.¹
