Jean Pothier

Jean was born on September 7th, 1671 in Petite-Rivière-St-Charles , Qc.¹   Jean's father was Étienne Pothier-Laverdure and his mother was Michelle De Lahaie.  His paternal grandparents were Pierre Pothier and Marie Danbonet; his maternal grandparents were Francois Lahaie and Nicole Lepron. He had two brothers and a sister, named Toussaint, Jean Francois Jean Baptiste and Marie.  He was the oldest of the four children.
