Maud Mathilda was born about 1072 in Huntington,Huntingtonshire,England.  Maud Mathilda's father was Earl Waltheof II and her mother was Judith de Lens.  Her paternal grandparents were Earl Siward Biornsson and Aefflaed de Bernicia; her maternal grandparents were Comte Lambert II deBoulogne and Adeliza de Normandy. She had a brother and a sister, named Uchtred Fitz Waldeve and Alice. She had a half-brother named William.  She died on April 23rd, 1131 in Scone,Perth,Scotland.

‌Maud Mathilda and The Saint were married in a religious ceremony in 1113.  They had a son named Henry Canmore.
