Sarah was born on July 13th, 1670 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Ma.1 Sarah's father was John Swain and her mother was Mary Weare. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Swain and Elizabeth Basselle; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Weare and Sarah. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Stephen, Joseph, Benjamin, Mary, Patience, Elizabeth and Patience.-
