Joseph Swain 
Joseph was born on July 17th, 1673 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Ma.1 Joseph's father was John Swain and his mother was Mary Weare. His paternal grandparents were Richard Swain and Elizabeth Basselle; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Weare and Sarah. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Stephen, Benjamin, Mary, Sarah, Patience, Elizabeth and Patience. He died at the age of 92 on June 1st, 1766 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Ma.-
