De Warenne was born in 1166 in Lincolnshire, England.  De Warenne's father was Earl Hamelin Plantagenet-de Warenne and her mother was Isabel de Warenne.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Plantagenet and Adelaide of Angers; her maternal grandparents were William III de Warenne Earl and Ala Talvas. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Isabel, Mary and Maud.  She died in England.  She was buried in England.
