Ida of Louvaine was born about 1065.  Ida of Louvaine's father was Duke Henri II of Lorraine and her mother was Adelaideof Orlamunde.  Her paternal grandparents were Ct. Lambert II of Brabant & Louvaine (Baudry) and Oda of Lorraine; her maternal grandparents were Graf Otto of Orlamunda and Adelaide. She had a brother named A la barbe.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died about 1139.


Ida of Louvaine's family with Ct. Baudouin II of Hainault

‌Ida of Louvaine and Baudouin II of Hainault were married in a religious ceremony in 1084.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Baudouin III of Hainault, Arnulph of Hainault, Ida of Hainault and Adelaideof Louvaine.
