Gisele of Luxembourg's father was Ct. Friedrich I of Luxembourg and her mother was Graefin Irmtrudeof Gleiberg. Her paternal grandparents were Ct. Siegfried of Luxembourg and Hedwig in Nordgau; her maternal grandparents were Graf Heribert I in Kinziggau and Irmintrudeof Avalgau. She had a brother and three sisters, named Giselbert of Luxembourg, Jutta of Luxembourg, Otgiva of Luxembourg and Imagi of Luxembourg. She died after 1058.General Notes
