Edward I "Longshanks" King of was born on June 17th, 1239 in Westminster, Middlesex, England.  Edward I "Longshanks" King of's father was King King Of England Henry III Plantagenet and his mother was Eleanor of Provence.  His paternal grandparents were King John I Plantagenet ("Lackland") England and Isabella de Taillefer. He had three half-brothers named Edward I, Edmund Crouchback Earl Of Lancaster and Crouchback.  He died at the age of 68 on July 7th, 1307 in Burgh-On-The-Sands, Cumberland, England.  He was buried on October 28th, 1307 in Westminster Abbey, London, England.
