David I "The Saint"'s father was Malcom III of Scotland and his mother was Margaret Aetheling.  His paternal grandparents were Duncan I of Scotland and Queen Sibyl FitzSiward of Scotland; his maternal grandparents were Edmund II, Ironside of England and Algitha.  He was an only child.  He died in 1153.
