Robert De was born about 1191 in Huntingdon,Huntingdonshire,England. Robert De's father was David of Scotland and his mother was Maud Meschines. His paternal grandparents were Henry of Scotland and Ada De Warenne; his maternal grandparents were Hugh de Keveliock and Bertrade (Beatrix) Evreux de Montfort. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Henry De, John Le, Margaret of, Isabelle, Matilda and Ada. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died about 1221.General Notes
