Margaret "the Saint" of was born in Wessex,England or Hungary.  Margaret "the Saint" of's father was Edward Athling Prince of England and her mother was Agatha Arpad of Hungary.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund II king of England  and Ealdgyth Princess of Northumbria; her maternal grandparents were St.Stephen I of Hungary and Gisela Von Bayern. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Edgar Atheling King of, Christina Atheling and Mathilde.  She died on November 16th, 1093 in Edinburgh Castle,Midlothian,Scotland.  She was buried in Dumferermline,Fife,Scotland.
