Theodric was born in 0956 in Gand Flanders Belgium. Theodric's father was Wickmann I Count of Gand and his mother was Ledgarde Flanders. His paternal grandparents were Dirk Diedrich I Count of Holland and Gerberge Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Arnoul I Count Of Flanders and Adele (Alice) (Alix) Vermandois. He had a brother and a sister, named Theodric de and Adela. He was the oldest of the three children.General Notes
