Mary Frances was born on September 25th, 1868 in Butler Co., AL.1 Mary Frances' father was William James Russell and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Spradley. Her paternal grandparents were Simon Russell and Nancy Love; her maternal grandparents were Bryant A. Spradley and Frances Payne. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Manning, John Simon, William James, Thomas J., Jasper Newton, George Washington, Elizabeth Jane, Mahazy Ellen, Sarah Louisa, Martha Minerva and Loyis Jesse. She died at the age of 62 on March 19th, 1931 in Nevada Co., AR. She was buried in Forest Groves Cemetery.1 1 -
