J. Henry was born about 1871 in AL.1 J. Henry's father was Solomon James Rushing and his mother was Silvina Rebecca Wilson. His paternal grandparents were William Cain Rushing and Mary Ann Rushing; his maternal grandparents were Edward Wilson and Mary Ann Goodwin. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James R., Guss D., G. Irving, Richard R., William B., George, Nettie Mary and Jessie. He was the third oldest of the nine children. make the number of living children in 1900 as seven which is stated on
