Nancy MATHEWS

Nancy was born about 1785 in Broad Oak, Hongaren, Herefordshire, England.¹ Nancy's father was WILLIAM MATTHEWS and her mother was SUSANNA BENNETT. Her maternal grandparents were JOHN BENNETT and SUSANNA TOWER. She had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, SUSANNAH, Betsy, Mary and Catherine. She was the third youngest of the six children.
