Mary MATHEWS 
Mary was born about 1786 in Birch, Hongaren, Herefordshire, England.1 Mary's father was WILLIAM MATTHEWS and her mother was SUSANNA BENNETT. Her maternal grandparents were JOHN BENNETT and SUSANNA TOWER. She had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, SUSANNAH, Betsy, Nancy and Catherine. She was the second youngest of the six children.
