John Gavin

John was born in February 1892.¹ John's father was Stephen Blocker Gavin and his mother was Sady ?. His paternal grandparents were Charles W. Gavin and Mary Ann Garrett. He had a brother and five sisters, named Jefferson, Elizabeth, Hilliard, Emily, Matilda and Gracie. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
