Matilda Gavin

Matilda was born in April 1894.¹ Matilda's father was Stephen Blocker Gavin and her mother was Sady ?. Her paternal grandparents were Charles W. Gavin and Mary Ann Garrett. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Jefferson, Elizabeth, Hilliard, Emily and Gracie. She was the second youngest of the seven children.
