Lois was born on October 7th, 1909 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Lois' father was Walter Lee Dobson and her mother was Harriet McCary Waldrip. Her paternal grandparents were Rainer B. Dobson and Harriet Ann Carlisle; her maternal grandparents were Asa Melton Waldrip and Martha Thomas Sears. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Freddie Lee, Thomas Melton, Eva, Annie Lucile and Mary Margerett. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named William Lee, Walter Franklin, Claude Terry and Living. She died at just 29 days old on November 5th, 1909 in Coosa Co., AL. She was buried in Sears Chapel Cemetery, located about a mile north of Rockford, AL..1 1 -
