George Crockett was born on February 12th, 1877 in Coosa Co., AL.1 George Crockett's father was Perry Dudley Culver and his mother was Mary Martha Green. His paternal grandparents were Asa Oliver Culver and Nancy Jane Pody; his maternal grandparents were Zabed Green and Susan A. (?). He had five brothers and six sisters, named John Austin, Zabed Andrew, William Henry, Geames Alfred, Dudley Oliver, Amanda Alice, Roxie Ann, Cordy Deloney, Mary Emma, Theola and Nancy Beatrice. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 on July 12th, 1952 in AL.1 General Notes
