Aquilla Castellaw 
Aquilla was born in 1807 in Bertie Co., NC.1 Aquilla's father was James C. Castellaw and his mother was Elizabeth Cobb. His paternal grandparents were John Castellaw and Martha Sarah Butler; his maternal grandparents were Edward Cobb and Elizabeth Collins. He had four brothers and a sister, named Starkey, William Larry, James C., Jr., Turner and Margaret. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 90 in 1897 in NC.1 General Notes

Aquilla was named after a Biblical Christian - Aquila (his wife was
Priscilla). Paul founded the Church at Corinth on his second missionary
journey and, while there, stayed with Aquila and Priscilla, who had come
