Richard de Clare 
Richard was born about 1062 in Tunbridge, Kent, England. Richard's father was Richard "de Tonbridge" "de Clare" FitzGilbert and his mother was Rohese ROHESE Giffard. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert "Crispin" d'Eu , Count de Brionne and Gunnora d'Aunou; his maternal grandparents were Walter "The Elder" Giffard , Lord and Agnes Ermentrude Fleitel. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Roger, Walter, Robert (Fitzrichard), Gilbert FitzRichard, Rohese Fitzrichard, Unknown, Ronais Fitz and Adeliza. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died in 1107 in England.-
