Matilda , Countess of Ringelheim was born in 0889 in Mensleben, Saxony, Germany.  Matilda , Countess of Ringelheim's father was Dietrich (Theoderich) Count of Saxon Hamalant and her mother was Reginhilde von Friesland.  Her paternal grandfather was Immed , Count of Ringelheim Von Sachsen; her maternal grandparents were King of Denmark Godefrid Denmark and Gisela of von Lothringen Princess of Lorraine. She had a brother and two sisters, named Lambert Count of, Amalrada and Frederunda (Frideruma).  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 97 on May 14th, 0986 in Membleben, Saxony, Germany.
