John "Lackland" King of was born on December 24th, 1166 in Kings Manor House, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.  John "Lackland" King of's father was Henry II Plantagenet King of England and his mother was Elbeonore Duchess of Aquitaine.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Comte Du Maine et D'Anjou and Matilda (Maud) Empress of Germany; his maternal grandparents were William X Duke of Aquitaine and Eleanor De Chastellerault. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Geoffrey of, Richard Plantagenet I King of, Mathilde and Eleanor Princess of. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named William, Agnes Capet Princess of, Marie Capet Princess Of, Mary Capet Princess of and Alice Capet Princess of.  He died at the age of 49 on October 19th, 1216 in Newark, Nottinghamshire, England.
