William Marshal II Earl of Pembroke

William Marshal II was born about 1190 in of Normandy, France.  William Marshal II's father was Sir William Marshal Earl of Pembroke and his mother was Isabel de Clare Cts de Strigoil. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Gilbert Marshal, Richard Marshal, Walter Marshal, Anselm Marshal, Margaret, Maud, Isabella, Johanna (Joan), Sibilla and Eva.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died on April 6th, 1231.

‌William Marshal II and Eleanor were married in a religious ceremony on April 23rd, 1224.
