William Edward Zike 
William Edward was born on September 2nd, 1872. William Edward's father was Harvey Zike and his mother was Thurzy Young. His paternal grandparents were David Zike and Mildred Jane Haggard; his maternal grandparents were Robert Young and Sarah Van Cleave. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Robert David, Lawrence Emory, Joseph Riley, Ida Jane, Flora Lizzie, Florence Belle, Phronia Lotitia, Allie Ineai, Ettie Irene and Carrie Marie. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 78 on April 10th, 1951. He was buried in Dodge Grove Cemetery, Matoon, Illinois.-
