Alexander Zike 
Alexander was born in 1837 in Kentucky. Alexander's father was William Allen Zike and his mother was Lydia Goforth. His paternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Goforth. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, James Thomas, George W., Francis M., Samuel Pinkerton, Casandra and Nancy J.. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.General Notes
Alex fought in the Civil War: Company H,22-Iowa (Zike002).
In 1895 Alex lived in Lynch, Nebraska. He also may have lived in Johnson
Coutny, Iowa and Knox County, Nebraska.
He was a farmer.
