Eliza Ann was born in 1854 in Lawrence Co., Indiana. Eliza Ann's father was Caleb R. Smallwood and her mother was Matilda Zike. Her maternal grandparents were John Zike and Susannah Smith. She had a brother and three sisters, named Alexander F., Mary Ellen, Sarah E. and Zebbie. She died at the age of 52 on April 6th, 1906 in Elnora, Daviess Co., Indiana. She was buried in Old Elnora Cemetery.-
