Lucy A. was born on February 28th, 1854 in Indiana. Lucy A.'s father was William Henry Harrison Shields and her mother was Mary Ellen Hudlin. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Shields and Sarah "Sally" Masterson. She had five brothers and six sisters, named David Thomas, William Taylor, John Wesley, Joseph H., George E., Mary Elizabeth, Martha Jane, Sarah Angelina, Julia C., Laura A. and Belle Marie. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 79 on April 18th, 1933 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. She was buried on April 20th, 1933 in Knight Ridge Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
In 1880, Lucy and Allen were residents of Salt Creek Twp., Monroe Co.,
Indiana, at the time of the Census.
Cause of Lucy's death was listed as Hypostatic Pheumonia.
