John Marshall Odell 
John Marshall was born in 1845 in Owensburg, Greene Co, Indiana. John Marshall's father was Sidney Stanhope Odell and his mother was Sarah Owens. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Odell and Nancy Walters; his maternal grandparents were John Owens and Anna Mason. He had nine sisters named Nancy Ann, Mary Frances, Lucinda E., Eliza J., Sarah Josephine, Belle, Ella, Nora and Helen. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 84 in 1929 in Jackson County, Missouri.
John Marshall and Helen Frances were married in a religious ceremony on December 8th, 1867. They had two sons and four daughters, named Sidney Stanhope,Sr., John, Florence, Claudia, Sarah and Sara Frances.

Sidney Stanhope,Sr. was born in 1871. He died at the age of 78 in May 1949.
Claudia Odell
Claudia was born on November 9th, 1873 in Owensburg, Greene Co, Indiana. She died at the age of 88 on November 19th, 1961 in Denver, Denver, Colorado. She was buried on November 22nd, 1961 in Crown Hill Cemetery, Denver, Denver Co, Colorado.
Sara Frances Odell
Sara Frances was born on February 13th, 1879 in Owensburg, Greene Co, Indiana. She died at the age of 61 on May 22nd, 1940.
