Mary Lindsay Masterson 
Mary Lindsay was born about 1732 in Fairfax Co., Virginia. Mary Lindsay's father was Edward, Sr. Masterson and her mother was Mary Lindsay. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Jr, John, Thomas, Richard, William, Robert, Sarah and Elizabeth. She died after 1768 in Halifax Co., North Carolina.General Notes
Mary and John moved from Caroline Co., Virginia to Halifax Co., North
Carolina after they were married. They produced eight children.
Marriage: Named as "Daughter Mary Lindsey" in father's will (1754).
Her husband was a descendant of James Lindey I. He was also her second
cousin and was a Revolutionary war soldier.
‌Mary Lindsay and John were married in a religious ceremony before 1754 in Fairfax Co., Virginia. They had three sons and five daughters, named John, Jr., Edward, James, Anna, Elizabeth, Judith, Mary "Polly" and Susanna.
