Oneta Butcher

Oneta was born on July 24th, 1913 in Monroe County, Indiana. Oneta's father was Joseph H. Butcher and her mother was Lora L. Shields. Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Butcher and Elizabeth J. Grubb; her maternal grandparents were David Shields and Lucy Amanda Vint. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Estel Joseph, Harold Herman, Elmer Dillon, Delmar Duard, Melvin Ira, Vesta Hazel, Maude Ellen, Zella Loretta and Zetta Catherine. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died on July 24th, 1913 in Monroe County, Indiana. She was buried in Mt. Ebal Cemetery, Clear Creek Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana.
