James Nichols 
James was born on March 19th, 1693 in East Greenwich,Providence Co.,RI. James' father was Thomas Nichols and his mother was Mercy Reynolds. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Nichols and Hannah Griffin; his maternal grandparents were James Reynolds and Deborah Jordan. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas Jr., Benjamin, Hannah, Mercy, Deborah, Susannah, Mary, Elizabeth, Frances and Comfort. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 54 in 1747.-
