Sarah Whaley 
Sarah was born in 1825 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Sarah's father was Leland Whaley and her mother was Katherine Talbott. Her paternal grandparents were James Whaley and Barbara Ramey; her maternal grandparents were Henry Talbott and Barbara Whaley. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles H., Benjamin F., Lee W., Mary and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James, William B., Harriet, Evelina and Angeline.-
