Marmaduke Simms 
Marmaduke was born in 1701 in Charles County, Maryland. Marmaduke's father was James Semmes and his mother was Mary Goodrick. His paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Semmes and Fortune Watson; his maternal grandfather was Robert Goodrick. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Milburn, Ignatius, James, Susannah, Mary, Anne, Julianna and Susannah. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died before September 23rd, 1772 in Maryland.-
