Ignatius Simms 
Ignatius was born in 1705 in Charles County, Maryland. Ignatius' father was James Semmes and his mother was Mary Goodrick. His paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Semmes and Fortune Watson; his maternal grandfather was Robert Goodrick. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Milburn, Marmaduke, James, Susannah, Mary, Anne, Julianna and Susannah. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 35 in 1740 in Charles County, Maryland.-
