Walter B. was born in 1891. Walter B.'s father was Benjamin Franklin Shipley and his mother was Julia A. Short. His paternal grandparents were David Shipley and Rachel Shipley. He had three brothers named David J., Thomas E. and Clay Evans. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Orgie Iven, Adria Ellen, Mary Etta, Mittie R. and Susan. He died at the age of 24 in 1915.-
